This part of the movie was filmed about twenty miles outside Palm Wag Lodge. Damaraland is one of the most scenic areas in Namibia, where prehistoric water courses with open plains and grassland, massive granite koppies and distant mountains create this wonderful landscape.
Upon arrival one feels as if they have landed on Mars with the prominent red rock fields known as the rock desert. This area
is located just outside the Skeleton Coast of Namibia, named for all the ships that look like skeletons laying all along
